Bermuda Triangle-Devil Triangle

Today, science has the power to find answers to almost every question. But there are still many mysteries which have not been solved by science. One such unresolved mystery is the Bermuda Triangle. It is present in the Atlantic Ocean. It is also called the Devil's Triangle.


Here, numerous sea ships and Aeroplanes got disappeared surprisingly. After many efforts, they could not be found till today. This topic is so interesting that many books and films have been made on it's mystery. Today in this post I will tell you about the secrets of Bermuda Triangle and we will be discuss about its geographical location. 

Bermuda triangle is situated in the Atlantic Ocean. There have been many incidents of abduction, which are very difficult to believe.


Some scientists say that when an aircraft reaches there, its radar, compass, wireless radios don't work properly due to which their contact with their control room brake off. They either become victims of an accident or lost in this mysterious area, They believes that geographical rules change there, due to which such incidents happen.

It is located in the south-eastern coast of United States in the Atlantic Ocean. But most of the incidents happened on the southern border of Triangle. In this area, sea and air traffic is in abundance. This area is counted as the world's busiest sea waterway, many ships go to America, Europe and the Caribbean Islands daily. But not all ships and aircraft disappear. Even after being a common route, this path is very mysterious because hundreds of such incidents have happened there and no one has answers to it.


Let's know about the events that led to it being called the Devil's Triangle. This mysterious region was first described by Christopher Columbus who also discovered the US.

Columbus was the first sailor to encounter Bermuda Triangle.He told about the strange behavior of Compass in the Bermuda Triangle during his sea journey in 1942. The experts believe that when his ship reached Bermuda's Triangle, Compass started to mess up. Columbus and his colleagues saws a lot of lightning in the sky and a huge fire that fell into the sea.

Now, Have a look to some strange incidents relating with Bermuda Triangle.

1. The Mary Celeste

The most mysterious incident in the Bermuda Triangle was with the ship called Mary Celeste. On November 5, 1872, this ship had moved from New York to Genoa, but could not reach there. Just a month later on December 5, ship was found in the Atlantic Ocean, but there was no person on it. Sources said that there was no harm to the ship. But no one knows where the people gone who were on the ship.

2. Flight 19

Five aircrafts of Flight 19 were flying on top of the Florida with 14 people in the leadership of Lieutenant Charles Taylor on December 5,1945 but these people never returned. After this incident, the rescue team of 13 people went in search of Flight 19 from a sea craft, but it also became a victim of the accident and never returned.

These incidents do not stop there. Many ships disappeared there mysteriously and nobody knew anything about them.  Boeing B-29 Superfortress (1947), Tudor Navy(1948), British Navy(1952), KB-50(1962) became victims of this triangle but the wreckage of missing ships has not been found yet. Statistics show that in the last two centuries, more than 50 ships, more than 20 aircrafts and more than 1000 people disappeared around Bermuda Triangle.

Some chemists believe that chemicals such as Methane Hydride is responsible for these accidents, When this hydride, formed in the sea water suddenly breaks down, it destroy all the ships around and make them disappear.

Research shows that there is a considerable amount of methane hydride in this area, due to which bubbles arising from it can also cause sudden sinking of the ships. 

Despite the countless scientists, reason of these incidents is still unknown. Bermuda Triangle is still a mystery for all.
