On this island, large number of crabs appear on places like forest, homes, restaurants, bus stands. There are 12 million crabs on this island. Indeed, crabs travel to the Indian Ocean on the other end from the forest located on one end of the island for reproduction every year, and due to this the streets also have to be closed.
Snake Island
Can you imagine an island on which only venomous snakes live? This snake island is located in Brazil in the Atlantic Ocean. Ilha da Queimada Grande Island is called Snake Island. Here the number of snakes is so high that 5 snakes live in every square meter. Snake of a species called Golden Lancehead is also found on this island. This snake is counted among the world's poisonous snakes. It can be estimated from the fact that humans die after 10-15 minutes this snake bites. In Brazil, 90% of all deaths due to snake bite are due to this dangerous snake. Currently people are not allowed to go on this island.
Crocodile Island
The real name of this island, located near Burma, is Ramree Island. There are many saline water lakes on this island and all of these are filled with dangerous alligators. During World War II 1000 soldiers of the Japanese Army reached this island to avoid the British soldiers but most of them became victims of these crocodiles. It is said that only 20 soldiers from the island had returned alive.
Komodo Island
It is located on the sea of Indonesia. It is the habitat of Komodo dragon, largest lizard on the Earth. During the First World War, an aircraft had crashed near the island. The plane's pilot reached this island and then he came to know that this island is full of Komodo lizards.
Shell Island
This is situated near the Senegal coast in western Africa. This is also called Shell Island, because crores of shells have been gathered on this island. The condition is that only shells are seen all over here. Here the paths are made from shells. Walls of homes and tombs are also made of shells.
