Amazing Things You Don't Know about Your
Body
The world is very amazing. Here we
see strange things and startling scenes many times. Apart from this there are
many strange facts about which we are still unaware. But when we think about
our body, we feel that we know everything well about it. However the truth
is that our body is full of many mysteries. It is not so easy to know those
secrets. Here you will read about such mysteries related to the human body
which are very weird.
Measure your height in morning to register taller
Do you know that an average
person is 1 cm taller in the morning compared to the whole day? But
why is it so? Our body works differently in the morning and evening.
Spinal cord contains 33 vertebrates. With the help of spinal cord, we are able
to walk, sit and stand. There is a gap between these variables. When we wake up
in the morning, our body is in a state of rest which increases our height to 1
cm. While in the noon and evening our body is in the motion due to which
Vertebrate's gap shrunk. That's why our height is reduced by the evening.
Don't starve otherwise your brain will eat itself
When
we are hungry, our cells start eating themselves to survive. This process is
known as Autophagy. Even if the body is hungry, our brain works
continuously, so the body always gives priority to the brain and gives all the
nutrients to nourish the brain. When we do not get food, our body uses
fat. Our body tries to keep itself alive by metabolizing its own muscles and
connective tissues.
Similarly,
the brain also keeps it alive by breaking neurons itself. That's why the
scientists say that the brain starts eating itself after being hungry for much
longer time. During this time, the size of the brain becomes small. However,
when we get food in proper amount, the brain gets back to its original shape.
Scientist said that in this situation, a man and a woman's mind work
differently. Man's mind eats itself more quickly than the woman's mind.
Our Stomach is Capable of Dissolving Razor Blades
Our
body contains Gastric acid which is composed of hydrochloric acid (HCl), potassium chloride (KCl) and sodium chloride
(NaCl). Our stomach's pH is between 1.0 to 2.0. The less the pH,
the more acidic it is. That's why it is more acidic and can dissolve razor
blades in it. Our stomach build new wall in every three to four days, which
does not harm our stomach, otherwise gastric acid damages our stomach.
Newborn baby can't see colors
Newborn
baby's eyes are not developed like a big child. A big child can recognize all
colors but a newborn baby can see only the colors like black, white and gray.
Because of the rods and cones present in the eyes, the colors are identified.
After 1 month of being born, it is possible for child to differentiate between
two colors. After two months, they begin to see all the colors and after 5
months, they learn how to differentiate them.
Don't Under estimate your pinky finger
Pinky
finger is the smallest finger of our hand. You consider it to be useless, but
this is the power button of our hand. This gives us half strength for the grip.
50% power of our hand is in this finger. This finger is valuable part of our
hand.
How many breaths do we take each day?
It
is difficult to count every breath you take. But we can tell you the figure of
breathing at an average level. Newly born babies breathe 30-60 times in one
minute, whereas knee-stroke child take 20-30 times in one minute. A man breaths
12-20 times in a minute. So, in this way they take up to 17,000-30000 times
breathe per day.
